Introduction

Hon’ble Chief Minister budget announcement 2021-22 to setup a “Center of Excellence for Revenue Research and Analysis (CoERRA)” for development of knowledge bank by regularly preparing and updating policy papers on all critical tax related matters. CoERRA also conducts risk analysis of tax payers, sector wise revenue receipts, potential leaks and pilferages, ways and means for plugging evasions and generation of data-based intelligences.

CoERRA will help departments such as Commercial Taxes, Registration & Stamps, Excise, Transport and Mines & Geology etc. to focus in areas to increase the State revenue by implementing policies which curb potential revenue leakages in the system and improvement in compliance through analytics-based methods.
